Jack Herbert Willis

Mr. Jack Herbert Willis, age 90, of Dahlonega, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018.

Mr. Willis was born on June 8, 1927 to the late Dewey Willis and Margaret Mae Tillery Skipper.  He was veteran in the United States Army serving 3 tours during Vietnam.  Mr. Willis retired with the United States Postal Service. He was member of Morningside Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. When Mr. Willis moved to Dahlonega he moved his membership to Dahlonega Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, of 69 years, Martha Virginia Willis; daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Paul King, Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law Jeffery H. and Alicia Willis, Richmond Hill; grandchildren Sean King, Kimberly King, Ginny Willis; and great grandson Finnegan Cano, affectionately called “Finn”.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
