Dewey Lawayne Farmer

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 15, 2018 at Hopewell Baptist Church for Dewey Lawayne Farmer, age 73 of Gainesville. The Rev. Phillip Jones and Rev. Phillip Ransom will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family
will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Farmer passed away Monday February 12, 2018.

Mr. Farmer was a lifelong resident of Hall County born to the late Ivan Farmer and Frances Louise Wright Farmer. He owned Lawayne Farmer Trucking and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Survivors include beloved companion, Connie Cochran, brother, Cosbey Farmer, children and spouses, Stan and Rhonda Mullinax, Lynn
Gilleland, Michael and Wendy Farmer, Mark and Janice Farmer, grandchildren and spouses, Jonathan Mullinax, Jenny and Shawn Carroll,
Bradley and Stephanie Gilleland, Brandon Gilleland, Stephanie Clark, Ashley Black, Brayson Farmer, Cole Farmer, Addison Farmer, Brooks
Farmer, great grandchildren, Braydon Gilleland, Alyssa Gilleland, Austin Gilleland, Allison Gilleland, Ansley Gilleland, Luke Conway,
aunts Louise Wright, Ann Wright, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
