Geneva Deal Evans

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 15, 2018 at Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel for Geneva Deal Evans, age 96 of Gainesville. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Gordon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Evans passed away Sunday February 11, 2018. 

Mrs. Evans was born the last of 7 children to the late John William Deal and Evie Rogers Deal in Bartow County. She moved to Hall County in 1948 and was a member of Montgomery Memorial Church. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Joiner from 1948-1954 and Dr. Jennings from 1954-1995 at the Diagnostic Clinic. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Martin Larry and Claudia Evans, Myrtle Beach, SC.
