Rebecca A. "Becky" Dalton Masse

Rebecca A. “Becky” Dalton Masse, age 85, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Saturday February 10, 2018 following a brief illness.

Mrs. Masse was born on December 24, 1932 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Tillman and and Lelia Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Smith; and sister, Elizabeth Chisom. Mrs. Masse was of the Methodist Faith. She retired from K-Mart. Following her retirement, Mrs. Masse worked for the Gwinnett County Board of Education.

Survivors include her husband, Don Masse, of Cornelia; daughter, Vickie Harwood, of Monroe; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Diana Stump, of Roanoke, VA; Jeff and Jennifer Reynolds, of Athens; sisters, Martha Wright, of Roanoke, VA; Rachel Stump, of Bent Mountain, VA; brothers, Kyle Dalton, of Bonham, TX; Gary Dalton, of Roanoke, VA; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Rev. Garvis Kinsey and Mr. Bill Evans officiating. The interment will follow in The VFW Memorial Park, Demorest, Georgia.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
