Raymond Lee Bridges

Raymond Lee Bridges, age 73, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Nancy Shook Bridges. Mr. Bridges is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Mary Ann Greene Bridges, Buford, GA; children, Rita Swain and partner, Rick, Panama City, FL, Raymond Glenn Bridges, Marietta, GA, Randall and Gina Bridges, Gainesville, GA, Tammie and Andy Kennedy, Buford, GA; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Pam Bridges, Loganville, GA, Roger and Sandra Bridges, Loganville, GA, Johnny Bridges, Elberton, GA, Dewey Bridges, Dacula, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Bridges was born on May 22, 1944 in Dacula, GA. He received his education at Dacula school. Mr. Bridges was a retired welder from the city of Lawrenceville with over forty-five years of service, and he was of the Baptist faith. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford with Dr. Jim Ferguson officiating.   The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Raymond Lee Bridges.
