Joyce Duncan Hart

Mrs. Joyce Duncan Hart, age 87, of Royston, GA died Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Kindred Hospice at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Hart was born in Commerce to the late John Amos and Leatus Sellers Ward.  She was a member of the Baptist faith and was a retired seamstress.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her brother, Maxwell Bernard Ward and sister, Sarah Calverley.

Mrs. Hart is survived by her son, Sammy Duncan of Hull; sister, Hazel Brooks; brother, John Ward; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, February 10 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Jeff Bridges officiating.  Interment will follow in Nicholson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from noon until 2 PM.
