Richard James “Ricky” Rampley

Mr. Richard James “Ricky” Rampley age 54 of Jefferson, Ga passed away on Tuesday, February 06, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday February 09, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Brian Sudderth, Reverend John Kinsey, and Reverend Mike Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday February 08, 2018 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Richard was born on January 15, 1964 in Canton, Ga to the late Robert Eugene Rampley and Marlene Bell Trippe Rampley. He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed with the Hall County Fire Department for 34 years where he retired as a Lieutenant. Mr. Rampley is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Gary Rampley, and Timmy Rampley.

Richard is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Justin Robert Rampley (Jessica) of Jefferson, brother and sister-in-law, Joe Rampley (Peggy) of Gainesville, special daughter, Karen Benton of Jefferson, and sister, Patricia Rice of Dallas, Ga.
