John Matthew Sabato

Mr. John Matthew Sabato, age 32 of Crestview, Florida and formerly of Toccoa passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at his residence.

A son of John Richard Sabato and Ginger Smith Roach, he was born March 23, 1985 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived a greater part of his life, having lived in Atlanta, Georgia for four years before moving to Crestview, Florida.  He attended Georgia Southern College.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Dameon Roach and by his grandfather, Pete Sabato.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Ginger Smith Roach and Marvin of Toccoa; father, John Richard Sabato of Crestview, Florida; brother, Marvin Wayne Roach, Jr. and  step-brother, Joshua Roach both of Toccoa; sisters, Santana Sabato of Gainesville, Georgia, step-sisters,  Megan Howell and Niki Gibson both of Toccoa; grandparents, Charles and Sandra Smith of Toccoa and Art and Francis Link of Crestview, Florida; niece, Sulaila Prather; two nephews, Olympious Prather and Precious Prather; a number of other nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 9, 1 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend David Sosebee, Mr. Marvin Roach and Mr. Joshua Cain Clayton officiating.

The family will be at the home of Ginger and Marvin Roach, 2167 N. Hicks Road, Toccoa and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.
