Harold W. White

Harold W. White, age 83, of Social Circle, GA formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas W. and Odessa White; four sisters; three brothers; and great granddaughter, Savannah Lynch. Mr. White is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Lottie Porter White, Social Circle, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie Ray and Pam White, Buford, GA, Harold David and Anita White, Lula, GA; grandchildren, Michael White, Lawrenceville, GA, Kim and Danny Adamson, Winder, GA, Joshua and Melissa White, Commerce, GA, Jacob and Deb White, Danielsville, GA; five great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruth Porter Knight, Lawrenceville, GA, and Martha Porter Pugh, Cleveland, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rev. Lamar and Lois Porter, Lula, GA; brother-in-law, Winford Carlyle, Dacula, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. White was born November 2, 1934 in Oconee County, Bogart, GA. He was a retired machine operator from Dolco Packaging Corporation in Lawrenceville, GA. He was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church in Cumming, GA and he attended the River of Life Center in Social Circle, GA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Arrington officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
