Selma Taylor Rich

Selma Taylor Rich, 91, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Alta Vista Cemetery with the Reverend Roland Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery.

Born on September 26, 1926 in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Idus C and Clara Edwards Taylor. She was a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Rich and brother in law, Robert Rich.

Mrs. Rich is survived by her son, George W. Rich, Jr. of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Rebecca and Mark Holmes of Cumming; grandson, Bill Saladrigas of Dahlonega; granddaughter, Kristin Driver (Phillip) of Dawsonville; grandson, Jayson Holmes (Abbie) of Cumming; grandson, Jeremy Holmes of Columbus; sister in law, Carolyn Rich; 5 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
