Virginia Lee Greenway

Mrs. Virginia Lee Greenway, age 91, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, February 2, 2018.

Mrs. Greenway was born in White County on June 28, 1926 to the late Lee and Vicie Martin Truelove. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Reid Greenway; brothers Harold Truelove and Grant Truelove; sisters Sandra Lambert, Alwayne Satterfield, and Cuelene Patterson.  Mrs. Greenway lived most of her life in Lumpkin County and she retired from Burlington Industries formerly known as Pine Tree. She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law Larry and Joyce Greenway, Dahlonega; daughter Janice Williams, Dahlonega; grandchildren Lauranda and Chris Law, Dahlonega; Danielle and Hugo Justiniano, Roswell; and Renee Head, Lavonia; brother and sister in law L.C. and Shirley Truelove, Dahlonega; 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell and the Rev. Kris Butler will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
