Angela Denise Render was born in Gainesville, Georgiato the late Albert Williams and Elizabeth Render on September 15, 1961. The youngest of eleven children, Angela had an infectious smile and bubbly personality that touched everyone she would meet.
A compassionate woman, Angela helped anyone who was in need. Known for her laughter, her smile, and her determination, Angela lived each day to the fullest even when her health was beginning to fail.
Passionate about cooking, Angela branded herself (to her family) as “The Gourmet Chef.” And, true to her brand, she would prepare traditional and exotic foods for her friends and loved ones to enjoy.
A lover of music, Angela would belt out every song that was on the radio, and even when the radio wasn’t on, she would sing a song. No matter the genre, she would sing it all! Music was truly in her and she embodied music.
At an early age, Angela made the best decision of her life when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior. She was a member of Back to the Bible Holiness Church in Buford, Georgia and most recently, New Beginnings Full Gospel Baptist Church in Scottsdale, Georgia.
Angela, affectionately known as Ann and Angie by her family and friends, transitioned from this life to a life everlasting on Saturday, January 27 Her only childTamara Shaneth Render and two sisters Mary Acree Davis and Mattie Wansley preceded her in death, and her singing partner and oldest nephew, Kelly Davis. She is survived by three brothers: Walter (Minnie) L. Render III, Bobby L. Render, and Edward L. Render and five sisters: Kathryn R. Goudelock, Virginia (Douglas) R. Littlejohn, Shirlyn Render, Lanary (Michael) E. Hunter, and Juanita R. Anderson. Her love and laughter will live on through her nieces and nephews: Walter Render III, Christina Render, Earle Render, Timothy Render, Donna Wansley, Rhodia Kress, Carl Wansley, Lisa Littlejohn, Kimberly Littlejohn, Douglas Littlejohn, Frog, Tony Hailey, Nelson Render, Donald Render, Ronald Render, Mary Render, Felicia Render, Sheena Haynes, Stephanie Hunter, Dedra Walker, Devita Anderson, Dana Render, Philip Dorsey, a special fur niece Queenie, two aunts: Mary Helen Watson and Lula Mae Bivins, and a host of cousins and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. John Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2018 at St. John Baptist Church between the hours of 6:00 PM - 8:00PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
