Richard Keith Fry

Richard Keith Fry, age 66, of Clarkesville, Georgia went to be with The Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018 following a sudden illness.

Mr. Fry was born on October 3, 1951 in Clarkesville, Georgia to the late Alvin and Bernice Fry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Rayford Fry; Reynolds Fry; sisters, Louise Gragg; Ruby Lee Fry; and his mother-in-law, Grace Gosnell. Mr. Fry was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was a self-employed poultry farmer as well as a cattle farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Gosnell Fry, of Clarkesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Rev. J.R. Elrod, of Demorest; Joyce and Tony Adams, of Turnerville; brother and sister-in-law, James and Donna Fry, of Clarkesville. Richard was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.   

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Unity Baptist Church with Rev. J.R. Elrod and Rev. Austin Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.
