Randy Taylor Wood, age 50 of Athens, GA passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018.
Born on Sept. 24, 1967 in Athens, GA, he was the son of Kathleen Hill and Seaborn Comer and the late John Taylor Wood. He is preceded in death by a sister, Judy Lynn Wilson.
Survivors in addition to his mother and step-father include a brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Michelle Wood, Danielsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Rochelle and Brooks Dobbs, Bowman; brother-in-law, Timmy Wilson; 3 nephews, Christopher Ray Wilson, Adam Marcus Wood, Oliver Dobbs; 3 great-nephews, Tyland Ray Wilson, AJ Wood, Dalton Wood; 2 great-nieces, Ariana Wilson and Elizabeth Nevaeh Wood.
Funeral services will be held 3 pm Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Hank Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Middle River Baptist Church Cemetery, Carnesville, GA. The family will receive friends from 2 pm till time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
