Melissa Ann Ray

Melissa Ann Ray, age 38, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Brenda Ray. She is survived by her children, Michala Ray (15), McKenzie Ray (10), and Mason Ray (8); brother, Allen Duckett, Braselton, GA; aunt, Rebecca and Bill Steinmetz, Wisconsin. Ms. Ray was born July 31, 1979 in Lavaca, Texas. She attended West Hall High School in Gainesville, GA and was a nutritionist at Lakeshore Heights Nursing Home in Gainesville. Ms. Ray was of the Baptist faith. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital in memory of Melissa Ann Ray.
