Charles Lyndon Martin

Charles Lyndon Martin, 75, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018.  A loving husband, father and grandfather, he was a lifelong truck driver. Lyndon retired from Trucks, Inc. and was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. He enjoyed welding, cooking and gardening.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Annette Martin; parents, Beler and Geneva Martin; siblings, Maurice Martin, Nancy Eason; brother-in-law, Steve Shadburn; niece, Charlotte Hill.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Jeff Loggins, Michelle and Tony Sizemore all of Cumming; grandchildren, Hannah Loggins, Jesse Loggins, Jordan Harper, Maddie Harper; brothers and sisters, Ralph and Mildred Martin, Dr. Roger and Vickie Martin, Helen Shadburn, Susan and Perry Tallant; brother-in-law, Mike Eason; sister-in-law, Margaret Martin; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Gary Martin and Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating.  Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
