Grady A. Silver

Grady A. Silver, age 65, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Lillie Mae Silver; former wife, Mary Silver; and brother, Larry Silver. Mr. Silver is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Dawn Silver, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Joshua Allen Silver, Buford, GA, and Erynne Marie Silver, Buford, GA; sister, Lena Silver, Marietta, GA; brother, Arden Bramblett, Wisconsin: several nieces, nephews and cousins; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Phyllis Parker, Oakwood, GA, Lee and Kerri Lawson, Buford, GA, Joey and Christine Parker, Buford, GA; mother-in-law to Greg, Mrs. Theresa Valenti, Buford, GA; step-children, Donna Phillips, Nicole Watts, and Heather Le Mastus. Mr. Silver was born February 29, 1952 in Cartersville, GA. He attended Okeefe High School in Atlanta, GA and was retired from Lucent Technologies after 30 years of service. Mr. Silver was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and billiards player.

He was of the Baptist faith and attended Rock of Christ Church in Flowery Branch. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Mr. Mack Farr officiating. Interment will be held at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
