Willie Carlton Wooten, age 70 of Commerce, GA passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018 at his residence.
Born on June 08, 1947 in Cannon, GA, he was the son of the late Richard and Katie Roberts Wooten. He was a self employed construction worker and is preceded in death by a son, Ritchie Wooten; daughter, Michelle Haley; son, Charles Albin Wooten; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include brothers, Wofford Wooten, Royston, Lelas Wooten, Hartwell; sister, Sara Hobbs, Bowman; and a grandchild, Mason Haley.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Redwine United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hart County at 1 pm. The family will receive friends 10-11 am prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
