Mr. Tut Junior Watson, age 62, of Quarry Drive in Toccoa passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Stephens County Hospital.
A son of the late Clarence Tut Watson and Ruth Poole Watson, he was born October 29, 1955 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived for all of his life. He was employed with Habersham Plantation for a number of years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Melonie Nolan Watson of the home, son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Chasity Watson of Martin, Ga., a daughter, Cindy Fleming of Toccoa, four grandchildren, Heather, Branden, Brittian, and McKinzie, three brothers, Charles Watson of Toccoa, Kenneth Watson of Orange Park, Florida, and Michael Watson of Martin, Ga., six sisters, Mary Saylors, Josephine Sheerer, and Joyce Brown all of Martin, Ga., Kathleen Adams and Evelyn Thurston both of Toccoa, and Mildred McConnell of Eastanollee, Ga.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Derrick Woody officiating.
The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers and will please assemble at the funeral home by 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, Timothy Watson, Eric Watson, Derrick Loudermilk, Donald McConnell, Dustin Neal, and Matt Stamey.
The family will be at the home on Quarry Drive, Toccoa, and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday.
