Warren “Doodlebug” Jackson

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Warren “Doodlebug” Jackson, age 69 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, January 20, 2018.  Mr. Jackson was born in Jefferson, Georgia a son of the late Hoyt Campbell Jackson and the late Vada Dalton Jackson and was a retired retail clerk.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Jackson is preceded in death by a brother Mike Jackson.

Survivors include two brothers, Roger Jackson of Jefferson, and Steve Jackson of California.  Sister, LaJune Bowman of Bogart. Niece, Traci Mathis of Jefferson and nephew, Steven Jackson of Ohio.

Visitation services will be held 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Evans Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Warren “Doodlebug” Jackson to the Humane Society of Jackson County, P.O. Box 567 Jefferson, Georgia  30549.
