Clydine "Nana" Hulsey

Mrs. Clydine “Nana” Hulsey, 80, of Murrayville, Ga passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Born in Murrayville, she had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was a housewife, mother, sister, and Nana to many.  She enjoyed being outside on her family’s land.  She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren greatly.

In addition to her parents, Clyde and Dorothy Conner, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Hulsey and daughter, Janet Gail Hulsey, her sister, Mary Brookshire, brother-in-law, Frank Featherston, and sister-in-law, Carolyn Conner. 

She is survived by her children, Michael Joe Hulsey (Kris) of Alto, Ga and Denise Simmons (Wayne) of Murrayville, Ga.; grandchildren, Brandon and Christin Simmons of Gainesville, Amanda and Caleb Adams of Dahlonega; great grandchildren, Hayden and Easton Simmons of Gainesville, Maddox and Presley Adams of Dahlonega; brothers, Joe Conner (Vivian), George Conner, Johnny Conner (Nancy), Charles Conner, Donald Conner (Jenny), Nelson Conner (Jean); sisters, Libby Featherston, Edwina Blackburn (Wayne), and a number of nieces of nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Ricky Stone and Rev. Nelson Conner will officiate.  Interment will follow in Yellow Creek Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2018.
