Cynthia Jane Griffith

12/29/1946-1/15/2018

A mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother.

A wonderful partner and a dear friend to many. She was a champion ice cream lover, told it like it was, and never met a stranger. She was a mentor, a leader. She loved helping others in many ways. She helped during the women's movements, to give women a strong voice and equal rights, she believed strongly for the right that a woman makes her own choices and has her own beliefs. She spoke strongly of education first. She would give you a ride on voting day, regardless of your vote, just vote. She would risk her life and limb to save an animal. She helped many with spay and neuter. She was very active in the community. The 12 steps saved her life as she helped save many in return. She loved all her caregivers that have been so kind at helping her through this journey. She didn't see this as a fight, but just where she was meant to be. She loved to travel and was continuing to make travel plans. This journey for her has ended, but another one begins. She sends her love to all of those that she must leave behind. Know that whatever journey is ahead for Cynthia will not be boring.  You are always in our hearts. We love you. We miss you.
