Dale Alan Gaines

Dale Alan Gaines, age 66, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. He was born at Fort McPherson, Atlanta, Georgia on October 12, 1951. Dale graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and pursued a 43 year career as a Professional Engineer with Rosser International. He was an avid golfer and Georgia Tech supporter. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Deane Gaines, Jr. and Jane Carolyn Gaines.  Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Louise Marie Gaines; daughter, Jeanette Marie Leathers, her husband, David and their four children, Victoria, Patrick, Olivia and Sophia of Cumming, Ga.; daughter, Katherine Angela Niesi, her husband, Robert and their daughter, Joscelyn of Hoschton, Ga.; brothers, Mark Gaines, his wife, Blayne of Los Angeles, Ca.; Jack Gaines, his wife Dana and their children, Ryan and Mackenzie of Dunwoody; sister, Deana Motes, her husband, Charles and their daughters, Audra and Madalyn of Statesboro; and his good 4 legged buddy, Fritz. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m; service to follow, Friday, January 19, 2018 at Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 S. Lee St., Buford, Georgia 30518. A gathering of family and friends will meet at the home of Mark and Blayne Gaines, 138 Bordeaux Way, Braselton, Ga. 30517, directly following the service. Please bring your best stories about Dale.
