Roy Jordan

Mr. Roy Lee Jordan, age 84 of 1764 North Hicks Road in Toccoa passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at Habersham Medical Center.

A son of the late Namon DeCosta and Reba Franklin Jordan, he was born January 18, 1933 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He retired from Stephens County School System Transportation Department. He enjoyed fishing and antique cars. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and a former member of Northeast Georgia Antique Auto Region.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte Brock Jordan of the home, two daughters and son-in-law Lynne Martin of Martin and Laura and Fred Williams of Toccoa, grandchildren Derek Martin and Tabitha Williams, four brothers and sisters-in-law Troy and Janet Jordan, Ray and Brenda Jordan, Randall Jordan all of Toccoa and Murel and Sydney Jordan of Hartwell and one sister and brother-in-law Betty and Frank Bennett of Toccoa.

Funeral Services will be held Monday January 15, 2017 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 12 P.M. til service time.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Bryan Jordan, Steven Jordan, Clint Jordan, Tony Bennett, Harry Brock and Jason Savage.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens
