Boyd C. Gravitt

Mr. Boyd C. Gravitt, age 82, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Steve Lewallen and Rev. Frank Ford will officiate.  The family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Gravittt was born August 10, 1935 to the late Minor & Rachel Gravitt in Murrayville.  He was of the Baptist Faith and retired from the Hall County Board of Education, where he was a custodian.

Mr. Gravitt is survived by his wife, Carolyn Gravitt of Flowery Branch; children, Linda & Eddie Cronic, Janice Wooten, Susan & Roger Lovell, Cindy & Tracy Campbell, Pam & Eddie Towe and Tracy & Steve Jones; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul Gravitt, Evelyn Powers and Corene Clark; special family friend, Jackie Diaz; and beloved dog, Gracie.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 grandchildren.
