Helen Colleen Saine Griffith

Mrs. Helen Colleen Saine Griffith, 84, of Murrayville, GA passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at The Oaks at Limestone.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Ivester officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 25, 1933 in Gainesville, GA she was the daughter of the late Hubert Hershel and Leona Ransom Saine.  She was retired from Dundee Mills and a member of Free Chapel.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griffith is preceded in death by her husband, David Griffith; son, Danny Lanier Smith and sister, Marlie Millwood.

Mrs. Griffith is survived by her daughter and son in law, Gail and Doug Forrester of Homer; son and daughter in law, William Tony and Dorothy Smith of Murrayville; daughter and son in law, Susan Smith and Efrain Rodriguez of Murrayville; daughter, Sherri Smith of Dahlonega; son, Hubert Jeffrey Smith of Murrayville; daughter in law, Helen Smith of Gainesville; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great grandchildren; 4 great-great-great grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Diane and Clinton Baker of Lula and a number of other relatives and friends.
