Barbara Lucille Shugart

Barbara Lucille Shugart, 89, of Gainesville passed away January 5, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend David Simpson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 7^th from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Born on February 18, 1928, in Clarkston, GA she was the daughter of the late Guy Leonard and Lucille Campbell.  She was a homemaker and had previously worked at Fair Street School for 7 years. Mrs. Shugart was a member of Lanier Christian Church.

 In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shugart is preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Shugart.

Mrs. Shugart is survived by her sons, Wayne (Michelle) Shugart of Flowery Branch, Ken (Terri) Shugart of Cumming, Jim Shugart of Century, FL, Dan Shugart of Atlanta; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family members.
