Dale Parten

Dale Parten, age 49, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Rebecca Whited. Mr. Parten is survived by his sons, Devin Parten, Buford, GA, Colton Parten, Buford, GA; father, William Butch Parten, Buford, GA; brother, Kenneth Edwin Parten, Flowery Branch, GA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Parten was born December 21, 1968 and attended North Gwinnett High School. He was a mechanic and was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Island Ford Baptist Church Cemetery, 850 Island Ford Road, Buford, GA 30518 with Rev. Billy Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, January 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Flanigan Funeral Home to help family with expenses.
