Mildred Imogene Bolton Allison, 80, of Cumming passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family. Mildred loved the outdoors and gardening; she enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and reading. Most of all she enjoyed her family. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Allison, parents, Beulah and Lee Bolton, and her brother, Harley Bolton.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Glover of Gainesville, Colette (Darrick) Zink of Cumming; son, Anthony (Angie) Allison of Cumming; grandchildren, Jessica (Nathan) McCord, John Glover, Jennifer (Alex Jaume) Crump, Austin Allison, Spencer Allison, Lindsey Allison; great grandchildren, Allison Crump, Avery McCord, and Lilly Jaume; sisters, Betty (Norris) Buice of Gillsville, Marty (Jim) Strutton of Cumming; brother, Clarence (Sue) Bolton of Cumming; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Richard and Rev. Ronnie Waters officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
