Paul Von Ward, MPA, MSc, author, diplomat, minister and US Navy officer, passed away in his home in Cumming, Georgia, on December 30, 2017. He is survived by his wife Tonette Long; his children Stephen Ward, Michael Ward, Sandra Fox, stepson Michael Bond, and grandchildren Keaton Fox, Beau Fox, and Emma Bond.
A graduate of Harvard and Florida State University, Paul's career spanned service as a US Navy officer from 1962 to 1965, as a US diplomat from 1965 to 1980, as the founder and President of the nonprofit Delphi International Group from 1980 to 1995, and as a writer, speaker, and researcher in the years since. His served in the diplomatic corps in France, Martinique, Sierra Leone, the Dominican Republic, NATO, and senior positions in the State Department. His work with Delphi International Group fostered communication and collaboration across cultures to include international citizens exchange programs, training, development, and Soviet and Sino American joint ventures. Paul was a world traveler having visited more than 100 countries through the years.
Following his international diplomatic and nonprofit service, Paul spent 20 years focused his research and writing on evidence of non-human intelligence in a multidimensional universe. His research included human and nonhuman consciousness and the influence of advanced beings on human development. He studied reactions to advanced beings intervention and humanity’s role among many species and authored books and articles in this discipline.
In recent years since retirement, Paul has made Dahlonega, Georgia his home and was very active in supporting local charity work in his church and the community service organization.
