Ernestine Harkins Wiley, age 83 of Cleveland, Georgia passed away on January 1, 2018.
Mrs. Wiley was born on February 16, 1934 to her late parents Ernest Harkins and Mandy Ingram in Hall County. She worked in the textile industry as a cloth inspector for Gainesville Mill and was a native of White County.
Ernestine was a lifelong member of her church, Dewberry #2 where she faithfully sang in the choir. She was also involved in circle meetings. Almost any other time, you could find her doing her favorite thing; taking care of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving spouse of 48 years Van "Doc" Wiley of Cleveland; children, Cathy Cosgrove, Steve Ford and fiancé Kris Collins, Trudy Bailey, Jamie Headings; sister, Audrey Rogers of Greenville, South Carolina. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. Darren Cain and Rev. Dwayne Riles officiating. A reception will be served after the memorial service at Dewberry #2.
