Charles Shedd

Mr. Charles Shedd, age 90, of Phillips Road in Toccoa, Ga. passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the home.

The son of the late Wesley and Lillian Mae Adams Shedd, he was born July 19, 1927 in Oconee County, South Carolina and lived most of his life in Toccoa. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with North Georgia Stone for many years. Mr. Shedd was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War. He was a member of Tugalo Baptist Church and loved to fish and garden. He loved his family and was always a good provider; he and his wife were married for sixty-six years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Medlin Shedd of the home, a son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Loretta Shedd of Mt. Airy, Ga., two daughters and a son-in-law, Joanne Shedd of Toccoa and Gail and Darwin Brown of Eastanollee, grandson, Chuck Lathan, four great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
