Hobert LeRoy Gragg

Hobert “Leroy” Gragg, age 71, of Habersham County, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 31, 2017, following a period of declining health.

Mr. Gragg was born on November 23, 1946, in Clarkesville, Georgia; a son of the late Hobert and Annie Gragg. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Velma Jean Gragg and brother, Bobby D. Gragg. Mr. Gragg was a truck driver with 40 years of loyal and dedicated service, most recently being employed with Lawson Trucking. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Gragg loved the outdoors and was an avid camper on his time off.

Survivors include his daughters: Tracy French of Clermont, GA, Teresa Gragg of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and Sherri Wheeler of Baldwin, GA; sisters, Carol Moore of Demorest, GA and Kathy Bryant of Mt. Airy, GA; brothers, Lonnie Gragg of Toccoa, GA and Bruce Gragg of Baldwin, GA;  grandchildren: Russell Millsaps, Cailen French, and Jacob Rylee; and former wife, Diane Gragg.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Donald Grizzle officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018, at the funeral home.
