James "Jim" Lee Robinson

James "Jim" Lee Robinson, 74, of Cleveland, GA passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017.
 Jim was born on July 11, 1943 to his late parents John Walter Robinson and Hazel Davis in Greenville, South Carolina. Jim has lived in Cleveland for the last 30 years. He retired from Satterfield's Automotive Shop where he was a mechanic for many years.

In addition to both parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Coleman of Texas.    

He is survived by his loving wife Peggy Robinson of Cleveland, Ga; daughter Kimberly Huttar of Augusta, Ga; daughter Judy Thompson of Cleveland, Ga; son and daughter-in-law Charles and Tara Berghoefer of Cleveland, Ga; son and daughter-in-law Allen and Deanna Berghoefer of Dayton, Oh; sister and brother-in-law Frances and Bill Thompson of South Carolina; brother John D. Robinson of South Carolina.

Jim also leaves behind a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with a very large extended family and church family that was very dear to his heart.
Although Jim enjoyed many hobbies including playing golf and tennis, his favorite thing to do was serve The Lord and his church. Singing in the choir, and cutting the church grass on even the hottest day of the year are just a few examples of Jim's selfless acts of service.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Stowers and Rev. Brian Satterfield officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery at County Line Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Cleveland, Georgia.
