Robert Howell Steadman

Robert Howell Steadman, 87 of Flowery Branch passed away Friday December 23, 2017 at his residence.

Born in Westminster, South Carolina, Mr. Steadman had lived in Hall County for most of his life.  He was the son of the late James Howell and Curtis Jane Eberhart Steadman.  He served in the United States Navy and was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Company.  Mr. Steadman was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Wynnell Steadman, Flowery Branch; son, James Kerry Steadman, Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Randall Lingerfelt, Gainesville; Donna and Charles Patterson, Clermont; Rhonda and Darrell Kidd, Gainesville; sister, Betty Ruth Crumley, Colbert;   6 grandchildren, Jon, Ginger, Jason, April, Kevin, Henry; 5 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Steadman is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Doris Delong.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 29, 2017 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church.  Rev. Ricky Thrasher will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Little& Davenport Funeral Home Thursday December 28 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
