David Richard Blihovde

David Richard Blihovde, 78, of Cleveland passed away December 24, 2017 at New Horizons Lanier Park following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Chattahoochee United Methodist Church with the Reverend Wayne Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on November 29, 1939 in Ridgewood, NJ, he was the son of the late Norman and Helene Blihovde.  He was retired owner of Blue Creek Nursery. In addition to his parents, Mr. Blihovde is preceded in death by his son, David Richard Blihovde, Jr.; sister, Barbara Bates and brother, Steven Blihovde.

Mr. Blihovde is survived by his wife, Mary Lois Blihovde of Cleveland, son and daughter in law, J. Mark and Diana Blihovde of Cleveland; grandchildren, Ashley Blihovde, Brent Blihovde, Preston Blihovde, Steven Black, Savannah Blihovde, Brianna Blihovde, Kaleb Blihovde; brother, Bruce Blihovde of Dardanelle, AR.
