Annie Lois Pless Phillips

Mrs. Annie Lois Pless Phillips, age 84, of 35 Taylor Alley, Toccoa began her eternal journey with her Lord on Monday, December 25, 2017.

A daughter of the late Norman Coy Pless and Jessie Mae Taylor Pless, she was born May 6, 1933 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Eugene Phillips, by a brother, James Pless and by two sisters, Frances “Ollie” Harris and Shirley Hill.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty King of Toccoa; son, Dennis Phillips of Toccoa; nine grandchildren, and was loved by many great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne, Ronnie and Jerry Pless all of South Carolina and Grady Pless of Georgia; sisters, Linda Willoughby Smoke of South Carolina, Betty Jo Smith of Georgia and Bonnie Rodriquez of Florida.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 30, 2017, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend John Carl Reeser officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Bobby Hatton, Jack Hatton, Dennis Phillips, Danny Kesler, Timothy Dyer and Dave Bremiller.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Annie Lois Pless Phillips.
