Denmon Hannie Cagle

Denmon Hannie Cagle, 80, of Gainesville passed away December 25, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend Stanley Mize officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Born on November 10, 1937, in Gainesville, GA he was the son of the late Homer and Frances Newman Cagle. Mr. Cagle was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a retired truck driver from Conagra Country Pride and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Cagle loved camping, fishing, gardening, flowers and being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cagle is preceded in death by siblings, Clinton Cagle, Marie Anderson, Bobbie Wingo and Geneva McNeil.

Mr. Cagle is survived by his son and daughter in law, Timmy and Nancy Cagle, son, Troy Cagle, daughters and sons in law, Tina and Ron Walters, Tammy and Chris Peeples; grandchildren, Brittany Walters, TJ and Erica Freeman, Cody Cagle, Cason Cagle, Chelsea Peeples, Abbigail Cagle; great grandchildren, Keegan and Kylie Sullens, Mahaley Freeman, Cardon Freeman; all of Gainesville sisters, Ruby Brookshire, Clara Mae Morgan and a number of other relatives.
