Ferrell Hall

Ferrell Hall, 71, passed away Thursday December 21, 2017 at his home in Gainesville, Georgia surrounded by family.  Ferrell was born in Athens, Georgia and grew up in Winder, Georgia and graduated from Winder Barrow High School. Shortly afterwards he moved to Gainesville and married Mary Philyaw.  He then served in the Airforce, in Vietnam. Later he completed his BS in Business Administration at Brenau University. 
He spent most of his career in traffic and logistics as a Sales and Operations Manager until retirement in 2016.  He loved managing the logistics process way before GPS was invented.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend known for his quick wit and ability to make others smile. 
He was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Hall, Father; Foy Sr Hall, Mother; Mary Elizabeth McCommon and brother, Foy Hall.  He is survived by his two sons, Mike and Kris Hall; brothers Jeff and Mark McCommon; sister Judy Eicher; daughter in law, Debra Hall; grandchildren Nicole, Kathryn, Mikayla and MarryAnne, as well as a niece and several nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m Thursday, December 28th, 2017  First Baptist Church Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia
Family will receive friends after the service in the church parlor.
