Barbara Munson Orgeron

Barbara Munson Orgeron, 83 of Suwanee, GA passed away Friday December 15, 2017.

She was a beloved mother of three Bambi Holt and Randy Orgeron and Robbin Washington and grandmother to three. Kenedi Looney, Aiden Looney and Elijah Orgeron. She has 2 son in laws and 1 daughter in law. Tim, Larry and Marla we will all miss her very much.

Our mom was a passionate woman of Christ. We always will remember her Sunday morning ritual with reading her daily devotional and watching her favorite pastors or if able to attend she loved being at church hearing the pastors live.

Our mom grew up in Louisiana.  She was born March 14, 1934.

She then moved to Georgia in the earlier 90’s to be with her kids. Mom was a true southerner.

Her love for homemade southern cooking was one of her favorite pastimes. Especially when we could all get together.  Mom also completed her full genealogy as far back as she could take it. Mom spent countless hours on her computer for research and tried connecting on Facebook or emails with relatives she learned of.

She enjoyed spending time with all of us together whenever possible.

Our mother would tell you “I truly had most everything a person could ever want or need. Yes she died unexpectedly but peacefully and is now in no more physical pain. We rejoice in knowing that she is free from pain and is with her Heavenly Father.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at 3pm in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
