Tyrus Cobb Hill

Mr. Tyrus Cobb Hill, age 70, of Maysville died Monday, December 18, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. Hill was born in Maysville to the late, Joe and Leola Chambers Hill.  Mr. Hill was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Mr. Hill is survived by his sons, Jason Hill (Linda) of Maysville, Wesley Hill (Shely) of Maysville and Mark Hill (Miranda) of Commerce; brothers, Ervin and Joseph Hill both of Maysville; sister, Allie Allen of Commerce; special sister-in-law, Melba Morgan of Cumming; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 21^st at 2:00 PM from Solid Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Swayne Carlan and Rev. Eddie Borders officiating with the interment following at the Tyrus Hill Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 5-8 PM.
