David Hall, Jr.

Mr. David Hall Jr., age 84 of Dahlonega, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017.

Mr. Hall was born in Atlanta on October 5, 1933 to the late David Sr. and Ruth Hudson Hall. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Betty Jo Hall, sister and brother in law Walter and Christine Cooper. Mr. Hall loved wood working, racing, and camping.  His blue eyes and bright smile will forever be remembered.  Mr. Hall’s favorite response to life was “right”.  He was a charter member of Hilltop Tabernacle.

Survivors include his wife Mary Ross Hall, Dahlonega; son and daughter in law Michael David and Patricia Hall, Social Circle; daughter and son in law Pamela Hall and Joe Harris, Stone Mountain; daughter Lesia Fortenberry Briley, Dahlonega; son and girlfriend Sam Fortenberry and Melissa Self, Dahlonega; grandchildren Chance and Kristen Hall, Amanda and James Paris, Garrett and Jessica Chambless, Robin and Brandy Harris, Jonathan Briley, Kristin Briley, Samuel Lee Fortenberry Jr., Mary Beth Fortenberry, and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Monday December 18, 2017 in Banister Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Tommy Ross and the Rev. Derik Lawrence will officiate.  Interment will follow at 2 P.M. in Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain.  The family will receive friends from 3-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
