Shirley Pruitt Garmon

Mrs. Shirley Pruitt Garmon age 66 of 175 Bobby Street, Toccoa passed away Friday December 15, 2017 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Odell and Laura Mize Pruitt, she was born on June 21, 1951 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived her whole life. She worked in child care for a number of years and was member of Toccoa Assembly of God. Her life was taking care of family members and church family. She was preceded in death by a brother Reverend Don Pruitt and a sister Jeanette Watson.

Survivors include her husband of the home Robert Garmon, a daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Mike Buttimer of Warner Robins, Georgia, grandchildren Thomas and Nathan Buttimer, a brother Larry Pruitt of Ohio, sister-in-law Alice Pruitt of Gainesville and nieces and nephews Derrick,Kelly,Kyle and Allye.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 A.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Lester Cowan officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Donny Pruitt, Robert Williams, Bobby Pruitt, Craig Wilson, Matt Dale and Jarius Hall.
