Mary A. Weir

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mary A. Weir, age 86 of Livermore, California who entered into rest Tuesday, November 21, 2017.  Mrs. Weir was born in Erath County, Texas, a daughter of the late Henry C. and Ada Tunnell Hyde.  Mrs. Weir formerly worked for Southwestern Bell, Southern Bell and Bell South and enjoyed cross-stitching and bowling.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weir is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Lyndon Hyde and Issac H. (Ike) Hyde, sister, Levetta E. Smith and her husband of fifty years, Ollin C. Weir.

Survivors include two sons, David L. Weir of Livermore, California, and Walter Joe Weir of McDonough.  Daughter in laws, Deborah E. Weir and Nannette G. Weir.  Two grandchildren, Nolan J. Weir and Julia N. Weir, nieces, nephews, and several cousins living in the Jefferson area.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from Jackson Memorial Park, Commerce, Georgia with Reverend Vaughn Howington, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends 12:00 – 1:30 P.M. prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.
