Karen Wallis Heard

Karen Wallis Heard, age 60, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, December 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Heard; parents, Wendell and Dessie Lou “Susie” Wallis; and brother, Ricky Wallis. Mrs. Heard is survived by sister, Kim Wallis Willliams, Sugar Hll, GA; brother, Randy Wendell Wallis, Buford, GA; sister-in-law, Belinda (Ricky) Heard, Flowery Branch, GA; aunts, Ann Wallis Piper, Kennesaw, GA, Martha Wallis Sellers, Loganville, GA, Gwen Wallis Collins, Sugar Hill, GA; uncle, Rennis and Janice Wallis, Sugar Hill, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Heard was born on January 20, 1957 in Duluth, GA. She was a 1976 graduate of Buford High School, and had worked for several companies in the metro Atlanta area. Mrs. Heard was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating. Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 2 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
