Mildred G. Cochran, age 88, of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a member of Eastern Star. Mildred was owner and operator of Tastee Freez from 1960 until 1975 and owner and operator of C & W Auto Sales from 1966 until present. She was preceded in death by her parents, Iverson and Bessie Gazaway; husband, Henry “Pee Wee” Cochran; sons and daughter-in-law, Rev. Hughlen Cochran, Johnny and Becky Cochran; sisters, Mary Jo Robbs, Betty Hester; brother, Buddy Gazaway.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Pam Cochran of Cumming, Joey and Lindsey Cochran of Cumming, Sue Cochran of Cumming; grandchildren, Michael (Sherry) Cochran, Michelle (Jeff) Ragsdale, Tina (Gary) Peardon, Mark (Kayla) Cochran, Jonathan (Kayla) Cochran, Suzanna Cochran, Ben Cochran, Ellie Cochran, Marlee Cochran; 11 great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 2nd at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Richard, Rev. Ruel Martin, Rev. Robert Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until the hour of the service.
