Beatrice Conner Pirkle

Mrs. Beatrice C. Pirkle age 92 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday November 23, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday November 25, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Earl Pirkle will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 25, 2017 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Beatrice was born on May 04, 1925 in Dawson County, Georgia to the late Ulys Conner and Mae Rives Conner Thomas. She was a retired Co-Founder of Pirkle Sheet Metal Fabrications and also a member of Central Baptist Church. Mrs. Pirkle is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Pirkle, and sister, Mary Martin.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jeff Rodgers of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Joy Pirkle of Gainesville, grandchildren, Michael B. Phillips (Karen) of Gainesville, Kenneth B. Phillips (Daphne) of Hartwell, Cory B. Phillips (Jennifer) of Gainesville, and Gary Hamrick of Jasper, 5 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
