Dwaine Youngblood

Mr. Dwaine Youngblood, age 91 of 283 Easy Street, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A son of the late Frank and Violet Lord Youngblood, he was born August 8, 1926 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was employed with Trogdon Furniture and later retired from Robertson Furniture Company. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Randy Youngblood and Jimmy Ray Youngblood, and by a brother, Wayne Youngblood.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Edith Kimsey Youngblood; daughter, Julie Mobley of Eastanollee; grandchildren, Maddy Mobley, Amanda Robinson and Chris Youngblood; niece, Kim Garrett; close friends, Kelly Mateos and Lee and Carolyn Carter; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 25, 2017, 4 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Roger Whiten and The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Steve Youngblood, Lee Carter and Kasey Crawford.

The family will be at the home on Easy Street and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Dwaine Youngblood.
