Mary Lee Wood

Mrs. Mary Lee Wood, age 82, of Commerce died Friday, November 10, 2017 at her residence.  Mrs. Wood was born in Kiln, MS to the late, Lucien M. and Sedonia Necaisse Lee.  She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church and was a retired Registered Nurse from BJC Medical Center.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Harrell Sr.; second husband James Horace Wood; sons, Robert Harrell Jr., William Atkins; daughters Connie Gonzalez and Nell Morgan.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her daughters, Katherine Evans of Commerce, Beth Harrell of Commerce, Robbin Roling of Commerce, Christina Bulls of Commerce, Peggy Carter of Carrolton, and Judy Griffin of Texas; sons, Ronnie Atkins of Duluth and Buzzy Atkins of Clarksville, TN; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Sunday, November 19th at 2:00 PM from St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church with Father Vincent Sullivan officiating.
