Brilyn Hope Carter, age 6 months, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Brilyn was born on May 5, 2017, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Christina Garrett and Jarrid Carter. Brilyn was full of smiles and laughter, she loved to be around her family and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and puppy dog pals. If she didn’t want something or you done something she didn’t like, she would definitely let you know.
I will miss you sweet baby. You were going to sing in the children’s choir at Ebenezer, but God had better plans. He wanted you to sing in His heavenly choir. Grandma will miss you, but I will see you again. Love Grandma’s heart, Lequeda Scott.
Survivors include her parents, Christina Garrett and Jarrid Carter; siblings, Alexis Irvin, Bryce Sisk, Paten Carter, Daijah Carter, and Jurni Carter; Paternal grandparents, Lequeda and Victor Scott, Alto; Joseph and Lisa Posey, Louisiana; Maternal grandparents, Karen and Terry Grier, Cleveland; Gail Rogers McClellon, Cleveland; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Oliver Dorsey and the Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Thursday and again on Friday from 10 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Egleston) for everything they did to help Brilyn and to Station 2 EMS for all their help.
